Cloudpermit System Now Available in Tay Township

Tay Township's Building Department officially launched its new e-permitting software Cloudpermit on August 15, 2023. The new Cloudpermit system greatly enhances both homeowner and building industry professionals’ ability to submit various permit applications through the Township at their leisure. 

The Township has seen a large increase in the number of building permits submitted over the past two years. This new electronic process will be more accessible for the public, builders, and designers, and make obtaining a permit more efficient. Residents and businesses will be able to use the online software to submit applications, seek approvals, and submit questions from the comfort of their homes/offices at any time. With the submission process becoming more efficient, it will also allow for Staff to conduct timely business within the Department.
