Council approves 2019 Preliminary Budget

Tay, Ontario: At today’s Special Council meeting, Tay Township Council approved the 2019 Preliminary Operating and Capital Budget.

This year’s Budget Overview includes the budget process, breakdown of the $16.9 million operating and $5.6 million capital budgets, 14 budget highlights, and breakdown of services for your tax dollars.

“The publishing of the Budget Overview furthers Council’s commitment to achieving open and effective communication between the municipality and residents to increase local awareness, interest, and transparency around key issues impacting our municipality,” said Mayor Ted Walker.

View the 2019 Budget Overview at tay.ca/budget and mark your calendar for the Final Budget meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. in the Council Chamber at 450 Park Street in Victoria Harbour.
