Council Confirms Position on Bring Your Own Alcohol (BYOA) Event Permits

Tay Township Council has confirmed that the Township will not support BYOA event permits for cultural or community outdoor public events. 

The province recently expanded BYOA permits to allow eligible cultural and community outdoor public events. However, participation is voluntary, and municipalities must designate an event before an organizer can apply for a BYOA permit.

Following Council's decision, Tay Township will not designate events under the provincial BYOA framework.
