Georgian Bay General Hospital Donation

Council presented a $25,000 donation to Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation. This donation is the third installment of a total of $100,000 committed to local healthcare during this council term. The funds will be used towards the Foundation’s Impact Fund, and will help to address Georgian Bay General Hospital’s most urgent capital priorities, which this year will include replacing the Central Monitoring System for the ICU, purchasing new defibrillators and crash carts, and upgrading to a completely digital patient medical record across the organization. To date Tay Township’s lifetime giving total to GBGHF is $368,476. On behalf of Council, staff and residents of Tay Township we thank the hospital and all its staff for their dedication and commitment, particularly during this unprecedented and trying year.
