The Library Summer Clerk is an integral member of our Tay Township Public Library Team!

We are seeking a driven individual with a strong interest in Library services to join us for the summer term beginning in May 2022. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to a program environment which promotes inclusion and variety. The Tay Township Public Library proudly offers students a hands-on learning environment based on variety, development and mentorship. Reporting to the Head Librarian, or their designate, the Library Summer Clerk promotes, coordinates and delivers children’s programming at the three branches of the Library; Assists Library staff with routine Library duties. The position requires active enrollment in secondary or post-secondary education at an accredited educational institution, timely participation in providing a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check, and a valid Class ‘G2’ driver’s license in good standing or alternate means of transportation to travel amongst branches.
