Municipal Water Restrictions

Outside watering is restricted to the days of the month corresponding with your civic address, meaning: even-numbered houses on even calendar days and odd-numbered houses on odd calendar days. Outside use is restricted to 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

All residents using municipal water are restricted to use of one outside faucet. The filling of swimming pools with water from a municipal water system is prohibited.

Individuals who don’t comply with this by-law (2013-38) could be fined $125 to $150 (or $300 when a ban is in effect) plus a victim surcharge of $25 (or $60 when a ban is in effect).
