Notice of Intent to remove a holding (h) symbol

Township of Tay Council has received an application to amend Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2000-57 for the removal of a Holding (H) Symbol. The amendment is being considered under the requirements of the Planning Act RSO 1990 c.P.13 and applicable regulations. The purpose of this notice is to inform you of this intent and to invite you to hear Council’s decision on this matter.

Council Meeting Information:

When:       Wednesday April 24^th, 2024 @ 7:00 PM

Where:      Council Chambers, Township of Tay Administration Centre, 450 Park Street, Victoria Harbour, Ontario.

The meeting will be held in-person and will be broadcasted to the Township’s YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/@TayTownshipON.

The Proposal: File No.: 2024-02

The purpose of the application is to amend the zoning on the subject lands to remove the “Hold on the Village Residential Two Exception Sixteen “R2*16(H)” Zone.

The effect of the application is to allow for the construction of one (1) single-detached dwelling unit.

The subject application concerns lands municipally known as 267 Woodlands Avenue, and legally described as Plan 922, Lot V. (Roll No: 453505000182700).

A key map has been provided showing the subject lands.

Your Rights to Appeal:

There is no opportunity to appeal a decision regarding an amending by-law to remove a holding symbol made by the Corporation of the Township of Tay to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT).
