Power has been restored to a large portion of our community, and we are encouraged to see many residents back online. However, we understand that some areas are still without power, and we appreciate your continued patience as restoration efforts continue.
The warming centre at the Municipal Office (450 Park St., Victoria Harbour) will remain open until 8:00 p.m. tonight, Thursday April 3, 2025.
The warming centre will not be open overnight, as we are no longer seeing a need from the community. The centre will re-open tomorrow morning Friday April 4, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
Residents are also welcome to warm up and charge devices at any of the Tay Township Public Library Branches, which remain open during their regular hours. Visit tay.ca/library to review their hours of operation.
