Notice of Intent to Remove a Holding Symbol (Victoria Glen Subdivision Phases 4 and 5)

The Corporation of the Township of Tay will consider a By-law to remove a Holding (H) Symbol not earlier than 7:00 p.m. on April 24, 2019 in the Council Chamber located at the Township of Tay Municipal Office, 450 Park Street, Victoria Harbour.
The Township of Tay intends to remove the Holding (H) Symbol from the lands zoned Village Residential Exception Nineteen “R2-19” and Village Residential Exception Thirty Two “R2-32” upon registration of the subdivision agreement for Phases 4 and 5, pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, amended.
The subject lands are legally described as Part of the West Half of Lot 13, Concession 6. The subject lands are zoned Village Residential Exception Nineteen “R2-19” and Village Residential Exception Thirty Two “R2-32” Zones.

The purpose and effect of the proposed By-law is to remove the Holding (H) Symbol from the subject lands in order to permit the issuance of building permits for Phases Four and Five in compliance with the Building Code and in conformity with the Zoning By-law.
Any person may attend the Council Meeting; however, as this is not a public meeting per the Planning Act, no public comments will be received.
Additional information regarding the request for removal of the Holding (H) Symbol will be available for inspection between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays at the Township of Tay Municipal Office.
