Notice of Proposed Laneway Closing and Land Sale Dated: May 23, 2019
TAKE NOTICE that The Corporation of the Township of Tay proposes to pass a By-law to stop up, close and sell part of a lane described as follows:
Part of Lane abutting Lots 311 to 313 Plan 555, being Part 1, 51R-41918,
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that The Corporation of the Township of Tay proposes to enact a by-law to declare surplus and sell municipally owned property described as follows:
Lots 311 to 313, Plan 555, Township of Tay, County of Simcoe (lands abutting 2770 Triple Bay Road)
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the Township of Tay proposes by the aforesaid By-laws to authorize the sale and conveyance of the parts of the lane which is closed to the owners of lands abutting the same or otherwise in accordance as well as the noted lands with the provisions of its Land Sale Policy, at a consideration to be determined by By-law of Council.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the proposed By-law will come before the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Tay at its regular meeting to be held at the Council Chambers at the Township of Tay offices, on the 26th day of June, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. and, at that time, Council will hear in person or by his/her solicitor or agent, any person who claims that his/her land will be prejudicially affected by the By-law and who has applied to be heard.
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that additional information relating to the proposed Road Closing By-law is available at the Township office during normal business hours.
