Notice of Proposed Laneway Closing and Sale (dated April 25 2019)

Take notice that The Corporation of the Township of Tay proposes to pass a By-law to stop up, close and sell parts of a lane in the Township of Tay, County of Simcoe, more particularly described as:

Part of the lane abutting and between Lots 64 to 73, south side Hayes Street and Lots 74 to 83, north side of Wardell Street, Plan 558, and being Parts 1 to 4, 51R-41971, in the Township of Tay, in the County of Simcoe (Behind 366, 358, 354 and 340 Wardell Street)

And further take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Tay proposes by the aforesaid By-law to authorize the sale and conveyance of those parts of the lane which are closed to the owners of lands abutting the same or otherwise in accordance with the provisions of its Land Sale Policy, at a consideration to be determined by By-law of Council.

And further take notice that the proposed By-law will come before the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Tay at its regular meeting to be held at the Council Chambers at the Township of Tay offices, on the 22nd day of May, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. and, at that time, Council will hear in person or by his/her solicitor or agent, any person who claims that his/her land will be prejudicially affected by the By-law and who has applied to be heard.

And further take notice that additional information relating to the proposed Road Closing By-law is available at the Township office during normal business hours.
