Notice: Water Service Interruption - Waubaushene Area - August 15, 2024

Please be advised that there will be a water service supply interruption for municipal water users on Hazel Street from Pine Street to Coldwater Road in Waubaushene on August 15, 2024 as crews with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) alongside Tay Township Operations Crews conduct fire hydrant installation.

Work is anticipated to be completed between 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m on August 15, 2024.

Notices from OCWA have been hand delivered to all affected properties.

As a result of this work, you may experience a change in pressure and/or some discolouration, sediment in the water, or perhaps even no water for short periods of time.

Water use during this time should be kept to a minimum to avoid discoloration from entering your home or business. During these times, it is advisable to check the water prior to doing laundry.

Should you experience discoloured water, run your cold water for 10-15 minutes to clear the service line. If the water does not clear after this time, turn off the tap and wait 30 minutes and repeat the process.
