OCWA performing valve and hydrant flow testing June 22 and 23

Please note that members of the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be conducting hydrant flow testing throughout Tay Township on Friday June 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In addition, valve testing will take place in Waubaushene starting on Thursday June 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As a result of this work, you may experience a change in pressure and/or some discolouration, sediment in the water, or perhaps even no water for short periods of time. Should you experience discoloured water, following a flushing event, run your cold water for 10-15 minutes to clear the service line. If the water does not clear after this time, turn off the tap and wait 30 minutes and repeat the process.
