Reminder: Burn Permits Required for all Outdoor Fires

Planning to have an outdoor fire? A valid burn permit is required for open air burning in Tay Township.

2026 burn permits are available through the Community Connect portal at tay.ca/firepermits.

Before purchasing your permit online, you will need to create a Community Connect account. Once your account is set up, you can log in and purchase your burn permit. Burn permits cost $20 and are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Permits can also be purchased in person at the Municipal Office during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
