Sweetwater Harvest Weekends at the Wye Marsh

At Sweetwater Harvest weekends, families can escape to a time when maple syrup was made over an open fire, experience our history and explore nature at its best. The festival celebrates the history of maple syrup, and the role it plays in our cultural and natural heritage.

This year the festival will run over 3 weekends: March 19 & 20, March 26 & 27, April 2 & 3, 2022. Activities will run from 10:00am-2:00pm, and trails will be open from 10:00am-4:00pm.  

Guests can enjoy activities like:

  • Sugar Shack Demonstrations
  • Pioneer Games
  • Maple Kids’ Zone
  • Guided Interpretive Hikes
  • Artisan Vendors in the Display Hall
  • Visit the Birds of Prey Field
  • Hike the trails and experience the sights and sounds of spring!

Guests must purchase their timed tickets online prior to the event at the Wye Marsh website https://www.wyemarsh.com/sweetwater
