Talbot Street Road Work Continues in Port McNicoll October 5, 2026

Residents and motorists are advised to plan ahead as ongoing road work continues along Talbot Street in Port McNicoll beginning Monday, October 5, 2026.

Two contractors will be completing work along different sections of Talbot Street:

• Ninth Avenue to First Avenue: Removal of the existing asphalt surface (milling) will begin October 5, 2026 with paving to follow.
• Triple Bay Road to Highway 12: Shouldering and restoration work will be underway.

With work taking place along multiple sections of Talbot Street, motorists should expect delays and use caution when travelling through the area.

The Township is coordinating this work to help minimize the overall duration of disruptions and complete the remaining work along Talbot Street as efficiently as possible.
