Tay Township announces summer programs and events schedule
Tay, Ontario: Registration for summer recreation programming in Tay opened today. Tay Township offers active living fitness programs such as Mostly Muscle, Tai Chi, and Yoga for adults.
Participants can register for recreation programs online at tay.ca/register.
Residents who don’t have a computer or internet can use the public access computers available at Tay Township Public Library (all branches) to register. Participants can also enroll in person at the Municipal Office at 450 Park Street in Victoria Harbour.
The Parks and Recreation Guide features Heart of Georgian Bay’s Historical Cycling Route along the Tay Shore Trail as well as 11 events happening in Tay this season, including Tay Bike Day, Tay Canada Day, and Battle of Georgian Bay.
The Music in the Park lineup is now set. Residents and visitors are invited to a free concert series on Fridays and Sundays in July and August. Musicians will perform weekly at three locations in Tay: Albert Street Gazebo in Victoria Harbour, Patterson Park in Port McNicoll, and James Scott Memorial Park in Waubaushene.
