Environment Canada is forecasting the possibility of freezing rain in the area over the next two days.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed and take steps to be prepared. Freezing rain can create icy and hazardous conditions on roads, sidewalks, and driveways.

Safety Reminders
- Take extra care when walking or driving. Surfaces may become icy and slippery.
- Allow extra travel time and adjust driving to weather conditions.
- Consider postponing non-essential travel if conditions worsen.
- Check on neighbours, friends, and family members who may need assistance.
Prepare an Emergency Kit
Residents are also encouraged to prepare an emergency kit with essential supplies such as:
- Drinking water
- Non-perishable food
- Medications
- First-aid supplies
- Flashlight and batteries
