Tay Township is Actively Recruiting for Volunteer Firefighters

If you are looking for a rewarding way to serve your local community Tay Fire is actively recruiting Volunteer Firefighters. 

The Fire Department’s goal is to protect lives and property by providing fire protection services and programs that address fires, medical emergencies, and other hazardous situations caused by natural or human-made events.

Tay Fire and Emergency Services has a full-time Fire Chief, a full-time Deputy Fire Chief/Fire Prevention Officer, a full-time Chief Training Officer and 76 dedicated volunteer firefighters that are committed to the protection of the citizens of Tay.

If you’re interested in joining Tay Fire, please take note of the following dates:

  • Stage 1: Recruitment Info Session
    • March 3, 2025 | 7pm| Tiny Fire Station 2, Wyevale - 817 County Road 6 South
  • Stage 2: Application Submission
    • Application deadline March 21, 2025 | 12pm
  • Stage 3: Aptitude Appraisal (Written Testing)
    • March 27, 2025 | Tay Fire Station 2 – 2201 Old Fort Road
