Tay Township lowers flags to honour the life of Marina Josey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marina Josey, a dedicated member of the Horticulture Committee since 2010 and Chair of the committee from March 12, 2015 to February 14, 2023.

Marina's infectious laugh and positive attitude were always present, and she took immense pride and passion in decorating Township entrances and maintaining our gardens to look their absolute best. Her passion for reading led her to volunteer at the Port McNicoll Library, through which she provided many valuable contributions to library services in Tay.

In her honour, the Township will be lowering the flags at the municipal office. On behalf of Mayor Walker, Council, Staff and all Tay Residents we extend our condolences to the entire family.
