Tay Township Municipal Office reopening to the public, effective June 14, 2021
Tay, Ontario – With the recent lifting of the Provincial Stay-at-home order and in accordance with the Provincial Reopening Plan, Tay Township will be reopening the Municipal Office effective Monday June 14, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.
In alignment with Step 1 of the Provincial Roadmap to Reopening, services continue to be available online, or by appointment.
- Obtain your Boat Launch Parking Permit instantly online at MyTay.ca
- 2021 Fire Permits can be purchased online at tay.ca/FirePermits
- Tax and water bill payments can be made through your bank either online or at a bank branch. Payments can also be made in the drop box located outside the municipal office.
- Late payment fees and interest on all bills issued after January 1, 2021 will be waived for all current water/wastewater and tax accounts, until July 31, 2021. Late fees and interest will apply starting August 1, 2021.
- Active living recreation programs are currently on hold. Visit tay.ca/COVID-19 for up to date information.
- Online Day Camp registration will open June 16, 2021 at 8:30am. Register online at tay.ca/register
- All Park Washrooms and portable toilets will be open as of Friday June 11, 2021.
- The Tay Township Public Library continues to offer curbside services. For full details visit tay.ca/library
- Building Permit applications are being accepted. Please call the building division at 705-534-7248 x220 for advice on your particular situation.

- Council and Committee Meetings will continue to be held remotely by video and telephone conference. Visit tay.ca/meetings for information on meeting dates, times and on how to participate.
For the safety of all, including staff, public health and workplace safety measures will continue to apply to anyone entering the Municipal Office, including maintaining physical distancing and wearing a face covering.
The municipal office is located at 450 Park Street with regular office hours of Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
