Tay Township Proclaims April as BeADonor Month and Raises the Flag in Celebration
Today, Monday April 7th, Tay Township staff and members of council raised the #BeADonor flag at the Municipal Office to kick off Be A Donor month.
In response, I, Ted Walker, Mayor of the Corporation of the Township of Tay do hereby proclaim the month of April 2025 as BeADonor Month.
BeADonor Month is a public awareness campaign designed to inspire those who have not yet registered consent for organ and tissue donation. Everyone has the potential to be an organ and/or tissue donor, regardless of age or health; one organ donor can save up to eight lives and enhance the lives of up to 75 others through tissue donation.
