Tay Township Proclaims March as #ITSTARTS Month and Raises the Flag in Celebration
Today, Tuesday March 4th Tay Township staff and members of council raised the #ITSTARTS flag at the Municipal Office to kick off #ITSTARTS month.
In response, I, Ted Walker, Mayor of the Corporation of the Township of Tay do hereby proclaim the month of March 2025 as #ITSTARTS Month.
#ITSTARTS is a public awareness campaign designed to take a proactive step toward addressing racism and discrimination in Simcoe County. It works to promote a unified community that encourages collective action against racism and discrimination.
