Tay Township reminds electors to return their voting kit

Tay, Ontario: Tay Township would like to remind electors that the 2018 Municipal Election will be held on October 22. The Township will once again be using a Vote by Mail system.

Tay Township reminds all electors to mail their voting kit by October 11 for a guaranteed return. “If your kit is not mailed by October 11, it can be hand delivered to the Municipal Office (450 Park Street, Victoria Harbour),” says Alison Gray, Clerk. “Use either the after-hours drop box located at the front entrance or drop it off in the building during regular business hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).”

On Election Day (October 22), voting kits will be accepted until 8 p.m. at the Municipal Office only.

To complete your voting kit, open the personalized kit that you received in the mail and follow the printed instructions. If you’re still unsure on how to complete your kit, you can watch the Vote by Mail Tutorial at tay.ca/vote.
