Upcoming Paving Notice: Barnes Avenue, McPhee Boulevard, Athabaska Street, and Franklin Drive in Port McNicoll

Please be advised that paving work on Barnes Avenue, McPhee Boulevard, Athabaska Street, and Franklin Drive is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks, pending weather conditions.

The planned restoration activities include:

  • Pulverizing and fine-grading
  • Asphalt paving
  • Roadside shouldering with gravel
  • Driveway tie-ins: gravel driveways will be tied in with gravel, and paved driveways will receive a paved apron (Driveway work is to follow paving)

During this time, access may be limited, and traffic delays, and detours may occur. We kindly ask that all vehicles be removed from the roadway and any obstructive areas during work hours to allow crews to complete the project efficiently and safely.

What to Expect
Residents may experience noise and equipment in the area during working hours. There may be limited or restricted access to driveways.
