Upcoming Paving Notice Rumney Road, Tay: 2026 Road Improvement Program

Please be advised that, as part of the 2026 Road Improvement Program, Tay Township, in partnership with Georgian Paving, will be undertaking paving operations on Rumney Road in Tay from Highway 12 to Elliott Side Road. 

Pulverizing will begin on Thursday, September 24th, with a paving date scheduled for Tuesday, September 29th, subject to weather conditions. 

To ensure worker safety, short sections of the roadway may be temporarily closed, with detours in place around the work area. 

Residents can expect temporary dust, noise, increased construction activity, and a rough road surface during pulverizing. Please drive with caution and follow all posted traffic controls.
