Portarama Family Festival is a Victoria Day Celebration created in 1985 to celebrate the town of Port McNicoll.
Portarama is organized by a dedicated group of community volunteers whose aims and objectives are:
- To provide the community with an annual family-oriented celebration on the Victoria Day weekend.
- To improve upon the lifestyle within the community by providing family-oriented events and programs.
- To help various community projects for the betterment of the community and people through donations of involvement through volunteerism and or cash donations.
Portarama Family Festival Returns for 40th Year of Community Celebration!
Portarama Family Festival will take place over the Victoria Day Long Weekend - May 16-19, 2025. This year marks 40 years of this cherished local tradition that offers something for everyone — from FREE live entertainment and a vibrant parade, to family-friendly activities, delicious food, local vendors and more! This year’s festival promises even more fun with new attractions and classic favourites returning to Patterson Park, Talbot Park, the Library and surrounding community spaces.
