We’re looking for a logo that is simple, accessible, versatile, and representative of the community as a whole.

The selected design will receive a prize of $250, formal recognition at a council meeting and a certificate of recognition!

If you have a meaningful connection to Tay Township, we’d love to see your idea! Submit your designs by April 24, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Why we’re doing this

Tay Township’s current logo was created at the time of amalgamation and has remained largely unchanged for more than 30 years. This contest is an opportunity to develop a refreshed logo that is modern, versatile, accessible, and reflective of the community today and into the future.

Council directed staff to move forward with a community design contest to encourage local participation and build shared ownership in Tay’s identity.

Who can enter

The contest is open to individuals with a meaningful connection to Tay Township. Participants will be asked to briefly describe their connection as part of their submission. Entries may be submitted by individuals or collaborative teams, although one primary contact must be identified for team submissions.

How to enter

To submit an entry, please complete the online submission form and be sure to read the Official Contest Rules. Submission deadline: April 24, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
